We chose a few quintessential dyeing tools that can help you in your natural dyeing adventures. We suggest you have a separate set of tools just for dyeing and this is good place to start!
Measuring spoons - set of four, sizes include: 1/4 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon, and 1 tablespoon, made of beech wood. These spoons look nice in the studio while being functional!
Brew bags - reusable, 3"x5" with drawstring closure, made of 100% cotton. These bags can be filled with whole plant dyes and submerged in water to extract the color.
Thermometer - digital, stainless steel probe, LCD digital display, temp range: Fahrenheit -50ºF to 392º F or Celsius from -45º to 200ºC, battery included! We use these everyday in our natural dye studio and rely on them a lot. They have an on and off switch that saves the battery which makes last even longer.
Tongs - stainless steel, locking, 9" long. You can never have too many tongs especially when you are excited to pull your creations from deep in the dye pot.
