Soyeux is La Bien Aimée's new silk-mohair yarn. Soyeux is a little thicker and fluffier than LBA Mohair Silk. It is incredibly soft and offers a stunning halo.
A traditional laceweight with 420m (459 yds) for 50g skein, Soyeux is made of 64% Kid Mohair and 36% Silk. The silk core of Soyeux is a little bit more matte and thick than that of Mohair Silk. The Kid Mohair makes Soyeux extremely soft and adds a beautiful fluffy texture.
Soyeux is slightly thicker than Mohair Silk. So the fabric may be slightly denser than when working with Mohair Silk.
