When I ordered this yarn I feared that I might need more so I thought I over-ordered for my project. What I have come to find is that 1-skein of yarn for a project using a G-hook and width of 4' produces 1' of work. That is less then expected and I am having to re-order another 3-set. However, the yarn quality is fine. Very soft and glides well unless you have just put lotion on your hands. It appears that it will require delicate washing techniques in cold water - I would think this to be a "hand-wash" blanket or at min. put in a washing bag if machine washed. I do not know if you will need to stay the color with bit of vinegar in the 1st wash. I will be testing some of the scraps to make sure I care for it correctly. Take cost into consideration when you think to use this yarn as you will likely need more to finish your project. Hope this is helpful.
