When I first unwound some of the yarn from the skein, I thought I was in big trouble because it seemed to not have any furry/fluffiness to it at all...it looked kind of limp. But, I was wrong. I have a project where I am using a two strands of this yard and wow does it fluff up. This is the first time I have worked with eyelash yarn and it is not so easy to see what you are doing...but then too, it is not so easy to see any mistakes either. I really thought this yarn would shed all over, but to my surprise, it hardly sheds at all. I even got myself into trouble as I got the two balls knotted together being careless ( all my own fault ) and then it took me hours to UN-do the knot. However, even through that excessive handling it hardly shed at all...even if it did it was but a couple of threads. I will look to the Paton brand again for future projects. Also, I should mention, the piece as it works up with two strands looks so much like real fur and it is oh, so soft!
