About Dye-to-Order: Every so often, we open pre-orders on our line of yarn. During this time, you can choose the palette of your dreams and we will dye it for you. Typically, this takes us 3-4 weeks. When pre-orders are not open, or if you need yarn immediately, to shop from our stock of yarn that is currently in stock.

Horizon is a plush, soft yarn. Made from organic wool, grown by sheep who are lovingly stewarded by folks in New Mexico. And spun by more lovely people, co-operatively, in Vermont. Naturally-dyed in our Oakland studio, we have ground and combined leaves, bark, roots, and cochineal to create 24 colorways.
Three colorways feature our locally-grown marigolds and coreposis flowers:

prairie (brand new!)
Horizon can be knit 4.5-5.5 stitches per inch - and is considered a DK weight yarn.
