Cecelia Campochiaro has designed this simple and addictive scarf pattern for our custom 2024 Bay Area Yarn Crawl color, Marine Layer!
The Winterview Scarf is just the right size - large enough to keep you warm on a chilly day and small enough to keep you cool yet elegant on a warm day.
It is made using a repetitive, easily memorized stitch pattern that makes a reversible fabric. The beautifully textured body of the scarf is made with one skein of Floating Marine Layer and is finished with a band using slip stitches and a second color of Floating.
This pattern is easily adaptable. For example, you can easily use Nibble for this pattern. Due to the fact that a skein of Nibble has less yardage, your resulting scarf will be narrower and shorter, more like a sweet bandana.
If you would like a larger scarf (deeper and longer), purchase two bundles.
