This is spefically for the one skein that I bought which is called Apple Orchards. This yarn is seriously gorgeous. It's extremly soft and the colors are beautiful. This is easily the most lovely yarn to work with in my experience because your needle will just glide through it. It has a satin feel to it just as described. The changes in color within the yarn are subtle and do not produce stark stripes as seen with other yarns- at least with a granny square or a circle. Image attached. Please ignore the 'jumps' on the left, that is me accidentally and quite stupidity using dc to make a circle with multicolored yarn. But you can see how beautiful it looks.Like another user mentioned, I too found that the yarn does stick to itself and when ripping out stitches you have to tug and it can be hard not to cause the yarn to fuzz up. See image. For this reason it lost a star.I can confirm that it is indeed a worsted weight yarn (4). Edit: this actually feels more like Aran weight yarn. It is also true as some users have indicated, that the thickness varies but for me it doesn't seem to spoil the end result. It also has a slight fuzz to it although stitch patterns are very clear regardless. The fuzz does not get in the way at all. However you have to think carefully about what you plan to make with it- particularly with this colorway. It's very dramatic and has a visible sheen to it. It is not matte as it appears to be in pictures or even when you look at the skein in real life. Once it is worked up the shine really shows. The colors are very, very vivid. I cannot stress this enough. They are jewel tones rather than thoes found in nature and are very intense. It's absolutely stunning but personally I don't see myself wearing anything made with it, not even a scarf. Perhaps it would work for an afgan or even a fun sweater for a toddler. Edit: I am making a yarn bag with it and am waiting for more yarn to finish it. I have included an image of it so far. It has white yarn in it, hence the white holesThis yarn is lovely so I will probably try a more suble color way for a scarf or hat.In a nutshell I recommend this yarn as a true treat! Just don't keep changing your mind about the project ( which I do a lot) because ripping out will ruin the yarn.Lion Landscapes yarn is remarkable.... absolutely gorgeous, sumptuous, rich in color, incredibly soft, springy, squishy, and one of the easiest to work up that I’ve ever used. If you like a yarn with body and shine, yet not too heavy for a sleeveless top in warmer months, then this is for you!As you can see from the pics, the actual colors in this yarn, Cabana, are a little (or a lot) misleading. From the picture and the name, to me it implies more cool shades of ocean, sandy beach, sky kind of... but what I see is 100% fall colors. So that’s why we do these reviews and I hope that you find this helpful. :). Now I’m going to go back and order some more because it really is gorgeous yarn!!I saw a lot of people saying this is hard to crochet with but I absolutely love it. I'm making a blanket for my in-laws and it's been easy to work with and is very soft. My only complaints are that you can't see the purple stripe the Cabana color has so I bought it thinking they were beachy colors but my blanket still looks good and also if you need to undo any rows it is a huge pain.If you are a beginner this would be pretty frustrating but the colors are pretty and it is soft it is just very fine and splits and knots in it.I used this yarn for the green foliage for a flower granny square crochet blanket. I had on hand only a few skeins and the blanket was getting quite large, so, fortunately, Amazon had it since no one had it locally (i guess it had been discontinued). The texture is soft, the fluffiness misleading as it works up as a worsted and I was using other #3 weighted yarns in the project. The goal was to keep my gauge which it did. Overall, glad I chose this product. The green was a perfect highlight to my project. Too bad it was discontinued. The other colors and self striping patterns look intriguing. I'd work with this product again. The yarn is good quality with very few places where the yarn strand was tied together by the manufacturer. Most skeins were free from those type of knots. The color was absolutely black throughout. Very lovely. The only think I don't like about this type of yarn is that because there is little twist to the fibers pulling out mistakes becomes difficult and time consuming. Otherwise I would give this yarn 5 stars.I really like the color scheme to this yarn, I found it easy to knit with, and pretty soft. However, half way through a scarf, I found the yarn had been tied together in a knot (as if the yarn had ended and another was added on) and was missing an entire section of the pattern. Because of this, my scarf has an abrupt change in color half way through instead of the nice fades that are typically seen in this yarn.Beautiful colors. I absolutely loves using this for my god's eye craft. This is not your usual yarn, it is very uneven in places and wound very loosely, like virgin wool. But it is strong. Personally i love working with it and it is one of my favourites. Lovely colour blends and very soft, you either love it or hate it. The fibres remain loose.Quite disappointed with this yarn; the colours are nothing like the image online. Online shows a sunshine yellow, light baby blue, and periwinkle. I would expect some colour differences in person, but what I received is DRASTICALLY different. Dark navy blue, murky green, and an almost olive yellow. I was so looking forward to this yarn, and now I don't even know if I want to use it.The yarn also arrived a week late; expected by June 21, arrived June 28.Colores brillantes, suave… llegó a tiempo y en buenas condicionesMe llego muy rápido y supero mis expectativas es mas bonito en físico.Hice una bufanda para mi hija y le encantaron los colores tan vivos y la suavidad de la lana
