Great to make a blanket - the blanket looks amazing, as long as it’s not used. It was shedding apart while I was making a large hand knitted blanket. If you don’t want a yarn that sheds - this isn’t for you.I bought this product so that I could make a chunky blanket for my wife. Honestly this is some of the softest fabric I have ever touched. As I arm knitted the blanket the fabric laid on my lap. By the time I was done with the first spool I was close to sweating. However when I was finally finished, I folded the blanket and and looked down at my clothes and I was covered. It looked as if I had been cuddling with a long haired cat for a few hours. The color of this yarn is very nice from a far but from up close you can see many yellow spots throughout as if it wasn't dyed properly.Positives... Warm, soft, luxurious and in expensiveCons.. Way too much lint, yellow spots.I would not recommend this product but for some people this could work out perfectly.Ok heres the thing. I was making a small square to cover a cushion. Its not really enough to do that. It isnt combed all that well with lots of little snags and offshoots and it sheds like crazy. It is my fault for sure that i didnt get enough but in order to get enough it would cost more than a pre made one from better wool. Just for perspective, i did a single crochet piece which is 15 chains long and gotn3.5 rowsI made pillows with this yarn. This is beautiful but sheds a lot over time. It’s gotten very linty and sheds with minimal use. I’m not saying I don’t like it, just was hoping for a cleaner yarn. Maybe this is how this yarn always behaves... it’s my first experience with it. I think I will try t shirt yarn or tube yarn next. But we like the pillows.Love how this feels!Unfortunately, I cannot give it a high review as it came with stains. Some darker pieces of wool fluff obviously came from another bundle, and that is fine. It is the stain that looks like a food stain, like a dot of Sriracha, that I am bummed about.I am not going to return it, because 1) returns tend to waste products and this is fine except for that and 2) it took a few weeks to get here.Overall, nice quality product. I just wish it didn't have that stain.Super soft and elegant looking material, but does shed quit a bit. It wasn't the easiest to work with as it would catch on my nails a lot. I understand it's un-spun, and that's why I wanted to make something with it because I liked the super suple look of it. Maybe if it where twisted a bit! Not the kinda material for being touched alot, but it made quit a gorgeous bed runner for my bed!Very soft but the quality on the outside is not the same on the inside of the roll. I was half-way through my blanket when I realized the yarn was becoming gauzy and thin....it had been split multiple times due to careless wrapping. Perhaps my scale is off but it seemed a little light one weight too. Of note, I got it on sale from Amazon warehouse...so perhaps a length had been cut from it?I was a little bummed that I thought I was getting two different spools when I ordered two quantities of wool. I was planning on making two blankets, but I made a mistake. I ordered the wrong amount of wool and was only able to make a pillowcase. Very soft quality and pretty color overall.As expectedIt was delivery promptly, great qualityTotal garbage. Not real wool. This is synthetic. Not soft and can not be dyed with acid dies. Very disappointed.the yellow one is 5 star really soft. ..the ivory one is a totaly différent quality like really less nicePerfect product and perfect company! I’m a satisfied customer !
