This yarn is thinner than I had anticipated. To me, it feels a little thinner than worsted. The only reason I deducted a star was because it is difficult to work with. It works up fine, but if you make a mistake, there really is not going back. I find that it just knots to itself and trying to rip out a mistake is pretty much impossible. I was able to do it a couple times, but it involved just ripping or cutting the yarn tangles apart. Other than that though, its pretty soft and definitely very cozy in the scarf that I crocheted with it.Jiffy is my favorite yarn, I still have it and need to make blankets. Jiffy is a discontinued yarn. The yarn is easy to work with on the recommended size 10 needles, and I am getting the posited gauge, but the 115 yards in the ball of Denim heather (classified as a Multi, so it has 20 yards less yarn than the ones classified as a Solid ... I am assuming that they have chosen to short the yardage and make the selling price and profit per ball the same for yarn that may possibly cost them slightly more per yard to produce) ... anyway, this 115 yards is NOT sufficient to make a man's very simple 1x1-rib toque. I have not tried it with the 135 yards of a solid ball, but I am unhappy with having to buy more than one ball for a simple cap, and then having half a ball left over, not good for much of anything. If I were choosing, I'd say, put enough in one ball for an entire adult's cap, or two adult mittens, and price the ball accordingly, the same way they sell sock yarn. This yarn is soft and easy to work with. It is a little fuzzy so once you crochet, weave or knit with it, it's a little difficult to flog your project if you've messed up.Over all, I like this brand of yarn, I'm giving it a 4 star because I have to order it offline and this one skein was $9 after shipping costs. So I'd suggest buying a lot of it to make that shipping fee worth it.I bought this yarn because I love the color and when I create the fabric, it is very soft to touch. It arrived as described. Thank youI think I might have a serious problem. I've had to clean out the guest bedroom to serve as my yarn storage center. Did I need this grape colored yarn? YES!!! I NEED all the yarn! And this yarn is so soft and grapey! I blended it with black yarn and knitted an amazing winter hat. I wear it every time my boyfriend asks why I keep buying yet another skein of yarn?!?! I rock that hat. Take that, doubtful boyfriend!!I should have read the reviews. Yes, it is a nice yarn but thin for 'bulky' and the fuzz! I woke up coughing the other night and I thought I'd cough up a fuzz ball!. I had to finish knitting my project with a cotton mask over my nose and face. And should you purchase for any project, make certain you buy enough. Luckily I bought two skeins because I needed more than one skein to finish a pair of wrist warmers. Normally I can get 3-4 pairs out of a normal skein.I like it, but I don't think I'll buy it again... Too fuzzy. This is a nice soft yarn that works up quickly. The only difficulty I had was when I had to rip out a couple of rows. The fibers tend to tangle. Other than that I enjoyed working with is yarn. There were knots(joins) in each ball I used. Each of these knots slipped undone with just a slight tug and had to be retied securely. In one ball there was also a fault in the spinning with a thick lump thinning out to a couple of strands. This section had to be cut out causing yet another join.I purchased the wool to make a garment I have knitted three times before using different yarns, using this brand I had to purchase an additional ball making the item more expensive. This yarn is very soft and a lovely shade of green.I have used this yarn a lot and this colour is useful for a number of projects. Quick and easy to knit up.A lot of yarn for low price, good qualityGreat yarn will buy againLovely, but the colours were more muted than expected
